Description
As Head of Warehousing, you will,
- Review existing,
- Infrastructure, does the footprint best serve both internal and external customers and perform on efficiency, cost, and future capacity
- Systems, does the current platform support inbound and outbound (including an Ecom operation)
- Processes, are they mapped out in the most efficient manner, and is there opportunity to automate and remove transactional (non-value add)
- Skills, does the team have the capability to operate in a different way and raise performance. What are the training needs and succession plan?
- With the support of senior leadership, reshape the warehousing operations to build service levels, control costs, and enable growth
- Ensure compliance and health, safety is at the centre of all decisions
- Manage and lead a team, providing clear direction and support to build engagement and performance
Profile
A successful Head of Warehousing should have:
- Proven expertise in warehouse management and be able to demonstrate where they have either consolidated operations or / and built capacity
- Knowledge of Ecom fulfillment, as well as retail store replenishment
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams through change
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Proven at a leadership level and enable to sell investment plans, operation change requirements, and raise the proven of the function
Job Offer
