The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting experienced Shunter Drivers to join our team in Coventry CV8.

Hours:
Night shift positions only
Typical start times fall between 17:00pm and 20:00pm
Typically Monday to Friday but may be weekend work at times
Pay Rates:
- £18.50 between 6am – 10pm
- £20.00 between 10pm – 6am
- Weekend £25.00
Location:
Coventry, CV8
The Role:
- Shunting trailers within the yard – 40–100 moves per shift
- Yard manoeuvring and reversing with confidence and accuracy
- Communicating effectively with transport and logistics teams
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 months shunting driving experience
- Full UK Class 1 licence (C+E)
- Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- Successful completion of assessment (theory and practical)
- Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude
