HGV Class 2 Driver
- Shift Pattern – Monday to Friday with occasional weekend requirements.
- £40 per night out
- 25 days holiday, in addition to the public bank holidays
We are looking for someone who is reliable, a safety-conscious driver with a strong work ethic and a desire to be part of a dedicated team.
Purpose of the role
To be responsible for the timely delivery of hazardous chemicals to customers throughout the UK, whilst maintaining compliance with Health and Safety standard, Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive Rules.
Key Accountabilities
- Safely and efficiently transport specialist chemicals in bulk to our valued customers
- Ensure compliance with ADR
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of geography and the UK road networks
- Ensure PPE is worn correctly and appropriately
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with your Driver’s Hours
- Ensure work is always undertaken to the highest standard
- Positively represent the company
- Ensure compliance with our ISO standards
- Ensure compliance with all Contractual employment obligations
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements at all times
Qualifications & Experience required
- Class 2 HGV License
- ADR experience and knowledge (Class 8 & 9 Required)
- Valid Driver Card
- Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence Card
- Maximum of 6 points on your driving license
