HGV Class 2 Driver – Dustcart / Refuse Driver

Got People is currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Dustcart / Refuse Driver to join a reputable client based in Hemel Hempstead.
This role involves operating a Class 2 refuse vehicle (dustcart) and providing support to the loader team during collections as required. It presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver seeking reliable, ongoing work with competitive remuneration.
Key Responsibilities

Operate a HGV Class 2 dustcart/refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently.

Complete scheduled waste and recycling collection routes punctually and reliably.

Assist loaders with collections when necessary.

Ensure all collections are carried out in compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.

Adhere to transport regulations and health & safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
Applicants for this HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver position must meet the following criteria:

At least 12 months’ recent driving experience with an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.

Experience driving dustcart or refuse vehicles is preferred (training provided if necessary).

Possession of a valid UK Driving Licence (Category C).

Driver CPC qualification.

Digital Tachograph Card.

No more than six penalty points on your licence (no DR or IN endorsements).

Willingness and ability to assist with loading duties as required.
