A leading secure logistics provider is seeking experienced HGV Drivers to join their specialist transport operation handling high value goods and secure freight.
This role involves the collection and delivery of high value cargo, including airside collections and nationwide movements, operating to strict security and compliance standards. Due to the sensitive nature of the cargo, candidates must meet enhanced security and background requirements.
Shifts: 40 hours per week, working a combination of early and late shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure collection and delivery of high value goods and cargo
- Operating HGV vehicles in line with company, DVSA, and security procedures
- Working as part of a two-man crew on the majority of assignments
- Airside collections and deliveries where required
- Long-distance UK driving as well as London-based routes
- Completing vehicle checks, paperwork, and delivery documentation accurately
- Representing the company professionally at all times
Key Requirements
- Valid HGV 2 Licence
- Proven experience in secure, high value, or specialist transport (preferred)
- Ability to pass a 10-year background check
- Enhanced DBS / CRB clearance
- Valid SIA Licence
- Clean or minimal driving licence preferred
- Strong attention to detail and compliance
- Right to work in the UK
