Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and modern workshop in Swindon. The Role As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, roadworthy, and fully operational. You will work as part of an experienced team in a well-equipped and supportive workshop.
Key Responsibilities Routine servicing and maintenance of HGVs Mechanical and electrical repairs Fault finding and diagnostics MOT preparation and inspections Brake, suspension, and engine work Completing job cards and workshop paperwork accurately Ensuring all work meets high safety and compliance standards

Requirements IMI Level 3 qualification (or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance) Previous experience working on HGVs Strong diagnostic and repair skills Own basic toolkit preferred Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous) Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
