BASIC SALARY: Up to £55,000 dependant on experience LOCATION: Manchester COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Oldham, Stockport, Rochdale, Altrincham, Cheadle, Hyde, Warrington, Bury, Wigan, Knutsford, Glossop WHY JOIN US: · Monday to Friday working pattern (8:00am – 5:30pm) · 42.5 hour working week · 31 days holiday including Bank Holidays · Ongoing training and development opportunities · A stable, growing business that values its people JOB DESCRIPTION: HGV Trailer Mechanic – Commercial Vehicle, HGV, Class 1, Class 2 As our HGV Trailer Mechanic, you'll play a key role in ensuring our trailers are maintained to the highest standards, carrying out: · Servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HGV trailers · Fault diagnosis and efficient repair work · MOT-standard inspections and defect identification · Pre-delivery inspections to ensure vehicles meet company standards · Accurate completion of job cards and inspection paperwork · Occasional breakdown attendance and field-based repairs PERSON SPECIFICATION: HGV Trailer Mechanic – Commercial Vehicle, HGV, Class 1, Class 2 We're interested in people who take pride in their work and bring a positive attitude to the team. You'll ideally have: · Strong experience in HGV trailer maintenance and repair · The ability to inspect and diagnose faults to MOT standards · Excellent attention to detail · A HGV license (desirable) · NVQ, IRTEC, or other relevant mechanical qualifications (desirable) · Welding and fabrication experience (desirable) THE COMPANY:
