HGV Class 2 Driver – Flatbed | Great Barford, Bedford
Location: Great Barford, Bedford
Pay: £17.00 – £18.50 per hour (Agency) | £38,000 – £40,000 per annum (Permanent)
Start Times: 05:00 – 06:00
Average Day: Approximately 10.5 hours
Newstaff Employment Services are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in Great Barford, Bedford.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company operating flatbed vehicles, with the chance to secure a permanent position offering a salary of £38,000 – £40,000 per annum.
The Role:
- Driving HGV Class 2 flatbed vehicles
- Delivering goods safely and professionally
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Providing excellent customer service on deliveries
- Working Monday to Friday with early morning starts (05:00-06:00)
What We're Looking For:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous flatbed experience is advantageous but not essential
- A positive attitude and reliable work ethic
Bonus Skills:
An IPAF licence would be a real advantage. However, our client is happy to invest in the right candidate and provide IPAF training and upskilling where required.
