Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher with QTS to join a welcoming secondary school in Northamptonshire from September 2026.

The Role
As a Religious Studies Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and respectful debate within the classroom.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and support departmental initiatives.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour, achievement, and safeguarding.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching Religious Studies at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A passion for promoting understanding, respect, and cultural awareness.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of young people.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Two professional references covering the past two years.
