As an HLTA, you will support the planning and delivery of learning activities, lead small group sessions, and provide targeted support to students with a range of additional needs. You will also help manage behaviour effectively, build positive relationships with learners, and contribute to a structured and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of learning across KS3 and KS4 students
- Lead small group interventions and structured learning activities
- Assist in planning and adapting resources to meet individual needs
- Support behaviour management in line with school policies
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students at risk of exclusion
- Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and external professionals
- Contribute to a safe, consistent, and engaging learning environment
This role would suit an experienced HLTA or strong teaching assistant who is resilient, proactive, and passionate about supporting young people in an alternative provision setting where every day brings a meaningful impact.
