Based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, this role is suited to an experienced support professional who is confident leading learning activities and covering lessons when required.
Classroom Support
- Work alongside teaching staff to raise pupil attainment
- Deliver intervention programmes
- Support curriculum delivery across year groups
Lesson Delivery
- Lead planned learning activities
- Provide classroom cover during teacher absence
- Adapt learning tasks to suit pupil needs
Assessment & Communication
- Monitor pupil engagement and progress
- Provide feedback to teaching staff
- Contribute to planning discussions where required
Requirements
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience within a primary school setting
- Confidence leading groups of pupils independently
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Good understanding of the primary curriculum
