Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – KS1 & KS2
Location: Rochester, Medway
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Are you an experienced HLTA or an accomplished Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Rochester from September.
Working across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' learning, delivering planned lessons in the teacher's absence, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience working as an HLTA or in a similar role within a primary school.

Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2.

Confidence delivering lessons and leading whole-class learning when required.

Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting children and staff.
