House Manager, Central London – Up to £95k GPA

Silver and Bow

We’re looking for a hands-on House Manager to join a long-term client in Central London. This is the Principal’s main residence, a sleek, high-tech smart home, and you’ll work closely with the Senior PA/House Manager as her right-hand, keeping the household running smoothly.

You’ll join a skilled team of around 15 staff, including housekeepers, chef, drivers, and security. The role is hands-on, covering daily operations, supervising the housekeeping team, coordinating contractors and maintenance, and will provide weekend coverage.

The client travels for up to 16 weeks per year, which may free up some weekends, but the core schedule is Saturday to Wednesday.

This position is ideal for someone who wants long-term stability, enjoys being on the ground, and can lead from the front while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. We’ve placed several members of staff here already, so we can vouch for the supportive environment and positive team culture.

You should have experience managing a large team in a UHNW household, ideally in a home with smart systems or a similar high-end setting. Hands-on and multifaceted, you thrive leading staff, managing guests, and stepping in wherever needed, while overseeing property maintenance and household systems. You take pride in keeping a sophisticated home running seamlessly, with discretion, professionalism, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily household operations and the housekeeping team

• Maintain room-by-room standards and SOPs

• Provide weekend coverage and support day-to-day execution

• Manage guest arrivals, requirements, and overall experience

• Coordinate and oversee contractors for maintenance and projects

• Manage budgets, expenses, and invoicing

• Act as the main point of contact for all household matters

Working days/hours: Saturday to Wednesday, typically 9 hours per day (8am–5pm or 9am–6pm), with one day per week working an 8-hour day.

Salary: £80k – £95k gpa

Start date: Flexible for the right candidate
