Housing Disrepair Solicitor

A growing law firm specialising in housing litigation is seeking a qualified Solicitor to join its expanding team. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values its people and offers strong benefits and flexible working.
The Role;
You will manage a caseload of housing disrepair claims (pre- and post-litigation), acting for tenants under relevant legislation (including Landlord and Tenant Act 1985). Cases will be handled from initial instruction through to resolution, in line with the Pre-Action Protocol.
Key responsibilities include:
· Managing your own caseload of housing disrepair matters
· Drafting letters of claim and legal documents
· Reviewing evidence, reports, and housing records
· Negotiating settlements and attending mediation
· Issuing court proceedings where required
· Liaising with clients, counsel, and internal teams
Requirements;
· Qualified Solicitor
· Experience in housing disrepair or significant civil litigation experience
· Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to targets
· Strong organisational, communication, and drafting skills
· Experience using case management systems
