HR Administrator (Initially temporary. Could lead to a 12 month FTC)
Northampton
£14 -£15 per hour (£27,300 – £29,250 FTE)
Reduced Hours – 3-4 days per week.
Predominantly Office-Based | Some Flexibility Available
Macildowie are working exclusively with a client based in Northampton to recruit an HR Administrator on an initial temporary basis to support a significant organisational change programme.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and resilient administrator to join a well-established manufacturing business and provide vital support across a wide range of HR activities. Working closely with the HR Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring day-to-day HR operations continue to run smoothly whilst supporting wider restructuring projects.
This role would suit someone with previous HR administration experience, although applications are equally welcomed from strong administrators looking to develop a career within HR.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing HR administration activities across the employee lifecycle
- Preparing letters, documentation and employee correspondence
- Assisting with consultation and organisational change processes
- Maintaining HR records and updating HR systems
- Coordinating meetings and taking notes where required
- Supporting absence management administration
- Assisting with policy updates and document control
- Responding to day-to-day employee and manager queries
- Producing HR reports and management information
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident handling sensitive and confidential information
- Comfortable working independently and managing priorities
- A strong communicator with a professional approach
- Resilient and emotionally mature
- Proactive and solutions-focused
- Experienced within administration, HR administration or a similar support role
Previous experience within manufacturing, industrial or blue-collar environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
