Are you an experienced HR Administrator looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a temporary HR Administrator to join a busy and supportive HR team in Durham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to gain further experience across the full employee lifecycle.
The Role
Supporting the HR team with a wide range of administrative duties, you will play a key role in ensuring an efficient and professional HR service is delivered across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing HR administration across the employee lifecycle
- Preparing contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation
- Coordinating new starter, induction and leaver processes
- Maintaining and updating employee records and HR systems
- Supporting recruitment activity, including scheduling interviews and issuing correspondence
- Assisting with absence management administration
- Responding to employee and manager queries
- Producing HR reports and supporting compliance activities
- General administrative support to the wider HR team
About You
- Previous HR Administration experience is essential
- Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Confident communicating with employees and managers at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD would be advantageous
