Reed HR are pleased to be supporting an organisation in their search for an HR Advisor to join their small and supportive HR team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who is CIPD Level 5 qualified (or nearing completion) and is looking to develop their career within a collaborative HR environment.
36 hours a week Monday to Friday
Office based role
The Role
As HR Advisor, you will provide a comprehensive generalist HR service, supporting managers across a range of people-related matters.
Working within a close-knit team, you will play a key role in delivering effective HR solutions and ensuring a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance on employee relations issues, including absence, performance, disciplinary, and grievance matters
- Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Assist in the development and review of HR policies and procedures
- Ensure HR systems and employee records are accurate and up to date
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support managers in line with current employment legislation and best practice
About You
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards completion
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role
- Ideally experience within the education sector (e.g. schools, academies, colleges)
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team
