An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Advisor to join an organisation on a fully remote basis. This role plays a key part in supporting the HR function through the effective management of employee relations cases and providing proactive advice to stakeholders, ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently and in line with employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR advisory support to managers on a range of employee relations matters
- Manage a high volume of ER casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management cases
- Deliver timely and practical advice on employee queries, ensuring compliance with policies and employment law
- Support managers with complex people issues, coaching and guiding them through HR processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of cases, ensuring full audit trails are captured
- Work closely with key stakeholders to resolve HR queries in a professional and efficient manner
- Identify trends across ER cases and escalate risks or recurring issues where appropriate
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and policies
- Support wider HR activities and projects as required, including organisational change and policy updates
- Ensure all activity is aligned with internal procedures, best practice and current employment legislation
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in a People Advisor / HR Advisor role
- Strong employee relations experience, with the ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law
- Well organised, able to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Immediately available
Location: Remote (UK-wide)
Working Pattern: Fully remote
Hours: Full-time
Length: Contract until end of August
Start Date: ASAP (interviews taking place immediately)
Rate: £20-£21 per hour
