HR Advisor – Employee Relations
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire (Hybrid Working Available)
Pay:£16.59 per hour PAYE
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary
Start Date:13th July 2026
Duration: October 2026
In addition to the agreed hourly rate, you will be entitled to paid holiday.
About the Role
E-Personnel Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HR Advisor to join their busy Employee Relations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with a strong Employee Relations background who enjoys partnering with managers, resolving complex people matters and supporting organisational change across a large organisation.
Reporting to the Employee Relations Specialist, you will provide expert advice and guidance to managers across the business, helping to build management capability while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, HR policies and best practice.
Working closely with the wider People team and HR Business Partners, you will also play an important role in supporting organisational change projects, analysing HR trends and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
This position offers hybrid working, combining office and home working in line with Sovereign Network Group's hybrid working policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing expert Employee Relations advice and guidance to managers across the organisation.
- Managing a varied Employee Relations caseload including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
- Coaching and developing managers to confidently manage Employee Relations issues.
- Supporting organisational change including restructures, changes to terms and conditions, redeployment, redundancy, outplacement and TUPE transfers.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies and HR best practice.
- Analysing management information and trends to identify opportunities to improve organisational performance.
- Preparing accurate case documentation and maintaining confidential Employee Relations records.
- Working closely with HR Business Partners and the wider People team to support key initiatives.
- Building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation.
- Supporting continuous improvement within the HR function.
What We Are Looking For
- CIPD qualified or currently working towards a CIPD qualification.
- Previous experience as an HR Advisor or Employee Relations Advisor.
- Demonstrable experience managing Employee Relations casework.
- Experience coaching and developing managers on Employee Relations matters.
- Sound knowledge of current UK Employment Law.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
