Temporary HR Business Partner/HR Advisor
Location: Nottingham
Contract: Temporary – 6 weeks
Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR professional for a short-term assignment to support the business with a range of employee relations (ER) matters. This is a hands-on role, requiring someone confident managing both routine and complex casework with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of employee relations matters, including:
- Absence management
- Performance issues
- Disciplinaries and grievances
- Handle both low-level queries and complex ER cases through to resolution
- Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers
- Ensure all cases are managed in line with company policies and employment legislation
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records
Requirements
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role
- Strong background in employee relations case management
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload effectively
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Up-to-date DBS check is essential
