HR Business Partner – Soft Services & FM

We’re currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join Compass Group, supporting our Soft Services and Facilities Management (FM) operations across London. This is a high-impact role partnering senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, operational environment.
The Role
As HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving the people agenda, working closely with operational leaders to deliver strategic and operational HR support. You’ll contribute to organisational performance through effective workforce planning, employee relations, and change management.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and deliver people plans aligned to business goals
- Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations, including unionised environments
- Support organisational change, restructures, and TUPE activity
- Drive engagement, retention, and performance initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
- Coach and develop line managers on best HR practice
About You
- Proven experience in an HR Business Partner role within Soft Services, FM, or a similar operational environment
- Strong background managing trade union relationships and negotiations
- Solid understanding of employee relations, employment law, and change management
- Commercial mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- CIPD qualified (or working towards) desirable
