Tony Alan is partnering with a highly regarded organisation to appoint a HR Business Partner – Associate Director into a key leadership role. Reporting to the Chief People Officer and sitting on the senior leadership team, this role will play a critical part in shaping and delivering the people strategy to support the organisation’s ambitions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to align people priorities with commercial objectives, ensuring a consistent and effective HR Business Partnering approach across the business. Building credible and trusted relationships will be essential, and you will bring the gravitas to influence, challenge, and support leaders in driving performance, engagement, and organisational effectiveness. You will also help create a seamless employee experience, ensuring that people initiatives are practical, impactful, and aligned to business needs.
Such duties will include but will not be limited to:
o Leading the HR Business Partnering function for a specific business area, ensuring the delivery of forward-thinking strategies to attract, recruit, retain, reward, and develop talent
o Collaborating with HR colleagues across specialist areas, including L&D and Reward, to maximise the overall impact of HR services for business leaders
o Managing implementation of annual lifecycle processes
o Promoting the effective use of people analytics to generate insights and support informed management decision-making
o Playing a central role in driving and supporting organisational change, ensuring people-related impacts are identified, understood, and effectively managed
o Contributing to a culture of innovation by applying internal and external insights to enhance the HR Business Partnering function and support HR-led initiatives and projects
The successful candidate will be an experienced Senior HR Business Partner from a consulting or professional services environment, bringing strong commercial acumen, natural gravitas, and a credible leadership presence, alongside a track record of business-focused HR solutions. You will demonstrate deep expertise in HR best practice, with proven success in developing and delivering people propositions, HR processes, and change initiatives.
A genuine passion for HR Business Partnering is essential, as is the ability to stay informed of internal and external trends, leveraging people analytics to shape both HR and wider business decision-making. With strong influencing skills and the ability to secure stakeholder buy-in, you will confidently provide expert guidance, lead impactful change, and inspire colleagues at all levels of the organisation
