A thriving group business in Henley-on-Thames are working with DB Charles Recruitment to hire a permanent office based HR & Compliance Administrator to join the team.
This role will hold a key position amongst the group businesses and working closely with senior management, essentially managing day to day HR admin and compliance. Support tasks will work across aspects such as the employee lifecycle, new starter onboarding, leavers, probation reviews, contracts, GDPR, documentation, auditing and many others.
Day to day duties for the role will include:
- HR email mailbox management
- New starter onboarding
- Induction processes
- Employment contract tasks
- Offer letters
- Absence management
- Handling reference requests
- Company compliance records
- Handling up to date company certifications
- GDPR data handling
- Health & safety administration
- Additional operational administration
- Office administration
For this position, the hiring manager and business would like to see aspects of the below skill sets:
- A previous career background holding positions such as HR Administrator, HR Assistant, Compliance Support or a role involving HR & Compliance tasks
- Must be highly organised and have an excellent ability to work in a confidential manner
- Highly skilled across MS Office packages
- A calm ability to adjust to different priorities quickly
- Some knowledge of HR & Compliance procedures
- Understanding of employment law would be an added benefit
- Previous working with HR Systems would be advantageous however not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Great at working to deadlines
- Must be happy committing to a full time office based role in Henley-on-Thames
This office based role will be working Monday to Friday with hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm and the business are ideally seeking to pay a salary of between £30,000 to £36,000 per annum and other aspects to note:
- x21 days holiday + bank holidays
- After each year of service, gaining x1 more days holiday up to a maximum of x25 days holiday
