The Role:
This is a key position within the HSE team, reporting into the Head of HSEQ, and responsible for supporting the drive of Health, Safety and Environmental standards across the organisation. You will play a hands-on role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with legislation and embedding best practice across operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and coaching teams to maintain high safety standards
- Leading risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across HSE performance
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
- Supporting leadership in delivering strategic HSE objectives
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys dynamic project environments, being visible on the shop floor / operational environment, and influencing at all levels of the business.
About You:
You will be an experienced HSE professional with a very strong background in engineering, manufacturing or another high-risk industrial setting.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised health & safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH or equivalent)
- Has proven experience in a hands-on HSE role within a highly dynamic manufacturing or engineering environment
- Is confident influencing, coaching and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Has experience of audits, investigations, and continuous improvement activity
- Brings a practical, proactive approach with a genuine passion for safety culture
- Open to travel both UK and Internationally
