A motivated EHS Advisor is required to join a Rail Contractor to play a key role in strengthening the safety culture and ensuring excellence across the project portfolio. This independent advisory role provides professional guidance to both internal teams and external partners, helping them manage risk effectively and deliver on the commitment to zero harm.
As an EHS Advisor, you'll support governance, risk management, and continual improvement activities, working closely with project teams to ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and client expectations. You'll analyse performance data, contribute to improvement programmes, and help shape a positive, proactive safety culture through coaching, communication, and behavioural leadership. You'll also collaborate across the wider EHS function, sharing best practice, supporting audits, and contributing to bids and tenders where required. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys influencing, problem-solving, and building strong relationships across a business.
Essential
- Level 3 qualification in health and safety, environment, sustainability or quality management
- Qualification in second discipline
- 1-year relevant experience
- Qualification in Internal Audit
- Proficient communication and presentation skills
