Job Title – Hygiene Technician Location – Rochester, Kent Salary: £30,814 Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 4:00pm
Job Role of the Hygiene Technician.
A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Hygiene Technician to join a stable and well-established food manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a hygiene professional looking to develop their career within a fast-paced production environment, playing a key role in maintaining exceptional hygiene standards across multiple manufacturing facilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out hygiene activities across operational and non-operational areas, supporting deep cleaning programmes, maintaining staff facilities, and ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards.
Sector – Food Manufacturing / Factory Hygiene
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Hygiene Technician.
Previous hygiene experience within a manufacturing or food production environment.
Desireable Requirements for the Hygiene Technician.
Experience working within the UK food manufacturing sector.
Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe chemical handling procedures.
Experience supporting machinery deep cleans and production shutdown cleaning activities.
