Immigration Assistant (3 Month FTC)
Renowned global law firm with an exciting growth trajectory is seeking a Immigration Assistant on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract. You’ll be joining an impressive team of lawyers that works with a diverse UK and international client base, advising HR teams, managers, directors, and family offices on a broad range of UK immigration matters.
- Salary to £41,000
- 3-month fixed-term contract
- Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)
- Applicants must be available immediately or at very short notice
- Chancery Lane / City Thameslink / Blackfriars
Immigration Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support across a range of UK business immigration matters
- Assisting with the preparation of sponsorship and visa application documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Coordinating supporting documentation and maintaining well-organised client records
- Acting as a point of contact for clients and relevant government bodies, responding to queries and facilitating the application process
- Gathering information from clients to support ongoing immigration matters and ensuring deadlines are met
- Maintaining and updating internal systems and databases with accurate case information
- Undertaking legal and regulatory research where required, alongside providing general support to the wider immigration team
Immigration Assistant Skills & Requirements:
- A genuine interest in UK Immigration and a desire to learn
- Strong academics
- Previous immigration or legal support experience advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
