Join our dynamic team as a George Inbound Supply Assistant , where you'll play a key role in managing the flow of inbound stock from the point of origin into the UK by working closely with stakeholders across George Supply, ALS, Merchandising, and 3PLs.

Manage the flow of stock from point of origin into the UK in the most cost-effective and efficient way possible

Responsible for accurate and timely completion of processes to enable POs to then be booked into DCs

Work closely with Merchandising Function and other key stakeholders (Inbound Supply, 3PLs) to ensure that product achieves the necessary timelines and milestones in accordance with relevant SOPs

Weekly prioritisation of stock in origin and UK in line with business priorities

Complete the relevant weekly processes using incumbent systems and logic

Be in regular dialogue with Freight Forwarders to understand any challenges/issues which impact milestones

Create relevant weekly reports for Merchandising/Buying and 3PLs

Review shipping transit times to ensure they are reflective of actuals

Staying current with industry trends
'About you'
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail and diligence
Strong analytical capabilities
Intermediate Excel skills
Knowledge of supply chain/logistics is desirable
Previous experience in a Supply chain role would be helpful but not essential
