Inclusion Support Manager – Mainstream Secondary School

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Inclusion Support Manager to join a successful and inclusive mainstream secondary school in South West London from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pastoral professional, behaviour lead or inclusion specialist looking to play a key role in supporting students both academically and personally.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Year and the SEND department, you will lead interventions that promote positive behaviour, improve attendance and ensure students receive the support they need to thrive in school.
The Role:
- Lead on day-to-day inclusion and behaviour support across the school.
- Work closely with students who require additional pastoral or behavioural intervention.
- Develop positive relationships with students, parents and carers to improve engagement.
- Coordinate targeted interventions to reduce barriers to learning.
- Support the school's behaviour policy through restorative approaches and effective behaviour management.
- Monitor student progress, attendance and behaviour, maintaining accurate records.
- Liaise with external agencies where appropriate to ensure students receive the support they need.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, Heads of Year, SEND and senior leaders to promote positive outcomes for all students.
The Ideal Inclusion Support Manager Will Have:
- Previous experience in an inclusion, pastoral, behaviour or safeguarding role within a secondary school.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent behaviour management and conflict resolution abilities.
- A calm, resilient and proactive approach to supporting young people.
- Experience working with students with additional needs, including SEND, SEMH or those at risk of exclusion.
- A genuine commitment to inclusion and improving outcomes for vulnerable students.
- Location within or ability to travel to South West London.
