About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Cleaner to join our client's growing team, based in Birmingham with work carried out across the UK. This is a customer-facing role requiring regular travel to client sites, delivering high-quality cleaning and air hygiene services.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and reliable individual looking for a temp-to-perm position with long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out industrial cleaning and air hygiene services, including fire damper maintenance
- Travel to various client sites across the UK
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards (including BS9999)
- Interact professionally with clients on-site, providing updates and maintaining excellent customer service
- Accurately complete job reports and documentation
- Maintain tools and equipment to a high standard
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel and stay away when required
- Full UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable (but not essential)
- TR19 (Grease Hygiene Operative – GHO) certification
- TR19 qualifications in ventilation hygiene
- Experience working with fire dampers (BS9999 compliant work)
- Previous experience as an industrial cleaner, air hygiene technician, or similar
