A leading international law firm is seeking to appoint an experienced Insolvency Partner to join its established and highly regarded restructuring and insolvency practice in Birmingham. This strategic appointment forms part of the firm's continued investment in its UK insolvency offering and presents an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious partner seeking a platform capable of supporting further growth.
The successful candidate will join a nationally recognised team acting for insolvency practitioners, lenders, private equity houses, directors, corporates and stakeholders across a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters. The firm boasts an impressive client base and strong cross-referral opportunities from its corporate, banking, real estate and disputes teams.
Applications are sought from Partners and ambitious Legal Directors seeking partnership who can demonstrate a strong track record of advising on complex restructuring and insolvency matters. Experience of business development and client relationship management will be essential, together with the ability to contribute to the continued growth of the practice. A following would be advantageous, although the firm is equally interested in speaking with individuals who can demonstrate a clear business case and strategic growth plan.
You will possess: • Significant experience advising on corporate insolvency and restructuring matters • Strong technical expertise across both contentious and transactional insolvency work • An established network within the insolvency and restructuring market • A proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships • Commercial acumen and a collaborative approach to business development • The ambition to play a key role in the continued expansion of a growing national practice
