We're recruiting on behalf of a growing and successful organisation seeking an ambitious Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their accounting career within a supportive environment, with exposure to a broad range of financial responsibilities and opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss analysis and commentary.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Calculate and post accruals and prepayments.
- Complete daily bank reconciliations across multiple currencies.
- Support the production of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packs.
- Assist with audit preparation and responding to audit queries.
- Prepare and post payroll journals.
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal processes.
- Provide ad hoc financial support as required by the finance team.
About You
You'll be a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is keen to continue developing your skills.
You'll ideally have:
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A positive, enthusiastic approach and willingness to improve existing processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
