Got a head for numbers and an eye for detail? My client is looking for a qualified accountant with previous UAT testing experience to help make sure a major GL implementation actually works — not just on paper, but in the numbers.
The Role
Pulling in data from multiple existing systems the role will make sure everything that flows in comes out right — accurately, every time. You'll support with test scenarios, and investigate anything that doesn't add up.
You'll Be:
- Supporting with test scenarios that stress-test the tricky stuff — reversals, multi-currency, intercompany
- Checking data and accounting accuracy
- Getting hands-on — loading files, checking jobs, verifying balances
- Making sure accounting rules translate correctly into journal entries
- Logging defects and working with the tech team to fix them fast
What You'll Bring
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent work experience)
- Strong UAT experience — you've led or driven testing on finance systems before
- Solid grasp of payroll, inventory, and cash accounting
- Comfort working with system integrations (file loads, interfaces, web services)
- Ability to connect the dots between system logic and accounting output
Salary
£350-£380pd umbrella
