Temporary Financial Accountant (Part-Time)
c3 Days per Week |Immediate Start | 3-Month Temporary Assignment
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a large, well-established organisation on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong accountancy practice background who enjoys statutory accounts preparation and is confident working independently.
You'll be supporting an experienced finance team with the preparation and completion of statutory financial statements for a portfolio of large UK companies.
The Role
- Prepare statutory accounts for large corporate entities.
- Produce accounts using Iris Accounts Production.
- Prepare iXBRL accounts for HMRC submission.
- Format and finalise statutory financial statements in Microsoft Word.
- Work from financial information already prepared in Excel.
- Support the delivery of statutory reporting deadlines.
About You
To be considered you'll ideally have:
- Previous experience preparing statutory accounts for large companies.
- Strong working knowledge of Iris Accounts Production(essential).
- Experience producing iXBRL accounts.
- Knowledge of FRS101 and/or UK-endorsed IFRS.
- A background within accountancy practice or a similar environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Audit experience with larger corporate entities would be advantageous.
What's on Offer
- Immediate start.
- Approximately 3 days per week with flexibility around which days are worked.
- Initial assignment running until the end of September, with the possibility of extension.
