Location: Oxford (hybrid, c.3 days onsite with parking)

A fast-growing, international organisation is seeking an experienced Interim HR Director to join on a 3-month FTC during a critical period for the business.
This is a high-profile, Board-facing role leading the global HR function (c.250 employees across the UK, US, and internationally). You’ll play a key part in shaping the people agenda while providing senior-level support in a complex and fast-paced environment.
The Role
You will operate as a trusted adviser to the CEO and Board, combining strategic oversight with a hands-on approach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the global HR function
- Advising the Board on people strategy, governance, and reward
- Overseeing Compensation & Benefits, including executive remuneration
- Driving organisational design, talent, and performance management
- Supporting leadership capability and fostering a high-performance culture
- Navigating employee relations and organisational challenges
- Ensuring HR strategy aligns with business growth and objectives
About You
- Proven HR Director-level experience, ideally in biotech, pharma, or a regulated environment
- Strong expertise in Compensation & Benefits
- Comfortable operating in complex, evolving or challenging environments
- Credible and confident working with senior leadership and Boards
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and able to make impact quickly
- Immediately available (or short notice)
