Internal Audit, Compliance & Project Co-ordinator

Imperium Financial Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected organisation seeking an ambitious audit professional to join its growing Internal Audit & Compliance function.
This isn't just another audit role.
You'll become involved in everything from financial and operational audits to compliance, governance, risk management and organisation-wide improvement projects, giving you genuine variety and excellent career development.
You'll Be Responsible For
- Delivering internal audits across financial and operational functions.
- Reviewing compliance and governance procedures.
- Producing professional audit reports and recommendations.
- Supporting strategic business improvement initiatives.
- Identifying risks and strengthening internal controls.
- Assisting with employee training and awareness.
- Supporting the Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Officer when required.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Internal or external audit experience.
- CIA/CMIIA qualification (or studying towards it).
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
- Excellent report writing ability.
- Experience working with audit software and financial systems.
- Knowledge of GDPR and compliance requirements.
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
