Imperium Financial Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a large, respected organisation to recruit an Internal Audit, Compliance & Project Co-ordinator.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious audit professional looking to move into a broad and varied role covering internal audit, compliance, risk management and business improvement projects.
The Opportunity
Working within the Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance team, you'll play a key role in protecting the organisation's financial integrity, improving operational processes and supporting strategic projects across multiple departments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting financial, operational and compliance audits.
- Preparing detailed audit reports with practical recommendations.
- Identifying risks and opportunities to strengthen internal controls.
- Supporting compliance and governance activities.
- Assisting with business improvement and organisational projects.
- Deputising for the Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Officer when required.
- Working closely with stakeholders across head office and regional offices throughout the UK.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- CIA/CMIIA qualification (or currently studying towards one).
- Previous internal or external audit experience.
- Strong accounting, financial reporting and audit knowledge.
- Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
- Experience identifying financial risks and control weaknesses.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data protection legislation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
