Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Generating new business opportunities through outbound telesales activity and lead generation
- Identifying and targeting prospective B2B customers across a variety of industries
- Supporting the external Sales Engineers by booking appointments and qualifying sales leads
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers
- Managing and updating the CRM system with accurate customer information, opportunities and sales activity
- Conducting market research to identify trends, competitor activity and new business opportunities
- Working closely with the marketing team to support promotional campaigns and lead generation initiatives
- Developing an understanding of HVAC and Process Cooling solutions to confidently discuss products and services with customers
- Providing customers with guidance to help identify the most suitable solutions for their requirements
- Collaborating with Customer Care, Internal Sales and Project Management teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Preparing sales forecasts, pipeline reports and performance updates for management
- Analysing customer feedback and market activity to identify opportunities for business growth
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards and health and safety procedures
- Supporting wider business objectives and undertaking additional duties as required
What you will need to Apply:
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should ideally have previous experience within a sales, telesales, business development or customer service environment, preferably within a B2B setting. Experience within engineering, HVAC, manufacturing or other technical industries would be advantageous, although not essential.
Applicants should possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage customers over the telephone and identify sales opportunities. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities are also essential.
Candidates should be comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, with previous experience of CRM systems and LinkedIn Sales Navigator being beneficial. A proactive approach, positive attitude and willingness to learn technical products will be key to success in this role.
A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK are required.
