CassonX are delighted to have a very long standing relationship with a major insurance company that had it’s own multi-manager investment firm, and now looking to bring this entity in-house. There is a huge amount of change to be considered with this company, all for the best, creating a truly exciting time to be joining the company in help shaping the support of the Investment Portfolio. We are thrilled to be partnering with them again, as we know they have some very inspirational individuals working for them already, and looking to be a market leader in what they do.
To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone who has proven experience as being a Manager of an Investment Operations team in an Asset Management company, with bias toward Fixed Income asset classes. It is of huge preference that your operations or middle-office experience is gained within a Lloyd’s Syndicate or large insurance investment environment (this will be prioritised), however, you will have knowledge of daily traded operational cycles, comingled investments, and illiquid asset valuation. Exposure to various data, custody accounting and risk systems both from a BAU and process automation point of view (Aladdin is distinctly advantageous) and further professional studies like the CFA or IMC are deemed favourable.
You will support the Head of Investments in executing control and operational integrity in supporting the Investment Portfolio, ensuring that all investment activity is properly recorded, monitored, and controlled. You will primarily be responsible for end-to-end investment operations, including operational relationship with third-party managers, custodians, Lloyds and service providers to ensure trade settlement and data integrity. However, system custodianship, third-party management, asset positioning, operational risk & controls and change management are some of the further responsibilities expected from this hire. A very detailed job description and wide benefits package is available to those who send a relevant CV.
CassonX Limited are committed to providing fair employment opportunities to all applicants. We encourage anyone to apply, regardless of their background, and promote a fair and inclusive recruitment process based on merit. If you require any assistance throughout the interview process to improve your experience, kindly let us know.
