Law Support
We are currently recruiting for a new IT Support Technician, to work in the London office of a leading US law firm.
The role will be offered on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract basis whereby the successful applicant will act as the first point of contact for user queries and provide on-site technical support.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing client technology support.
- Setting up and supporting meeting via web conferencing platforms.
- Supporting and instructing on telecommunications systems.
- Assisting with document production.
- Ensuring incidence requests are correctly identified, escalated, and updates are communicated.
- Maintaining technical currency in Level One and Two software packages.
- Imaging, installing, and configuring firm machines.
- Troubleshooting and repairing hardware issues.
- Assisting with moves and desk setups.
- Creating and updating the inventory of IT stock and assets.
Suitable applicants will have gained prior technical support experience, ideally within a law firm, but professional services will also be considered. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite and an understanding of networking fundamentals and legal applications (ie. ServiceNow, iManage, Active Directory Users & Computers).
