IT Infrastructure Manager
Location: Zug, Switzerland
Our client is an exceptional boutique investment management firm with a long-established presence in the financial markets. They are seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to take ownership of their core technology environment and help drive future infrastructure improvements.
They are looking for a hands-on, solutions-oriented technology professional who enjoys taking ownership and making a tangible impact. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a proactive mindset, thriving in an environment where they can support day-to-day operations while contributing to longer-term technology strategy and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the firm's server, network, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Drive infrastructure upgrades, enhancements, and optimisation projects aligned with business needs.
- Monitor systems and network performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity controls, backup processes, and disaster recovery plans.
- Provide technical support and act as a key technology partner to users across the business.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in IT systems, infrastructure, and network administration.
- Deep knowledge of Windows environments, with Linux experience viewed favourably.
- Solid understanding of networking, cybersecurity, firewalls, backup solutions, and disaster recovery.
- Experience supporting cloud-based environments and business-critical systems.
- Proactive, hands-on problem solver with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
