About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated IT Teacher to join our forward-thinking team in Scunthorpe. This IT Teacher role offers the opportunity to teach IT and Computing to enthusiastic learners, helping them to develop essential digital skills and a love for technology.

Key Responsibilities as an IT Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and possibly 5.
  • Foster a creative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Stay updated on advancements in IT and integrate cutting-edge technologies into the curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them excel.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the IT curriculum and share best practices.

About You
We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A strong knowledge of IT and Computing, current IT Teacher, including programming, networking, and software development.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • A passion for education and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
