Join a leading UK telecoms and technology services provider as an IT Technician – Technician 1!
Job Overview: As a Technician 1, you will work on the client site supporting warehouse operations, including processing requests, picking products, and coordinating dispatch with couriers. The role involves maintaining accurate records such as tracking details, managing stock intake and replenishment, and performing day to day activities required for effective stock management.
Location: Ipswich IP5 3RF Contract Length: 06 July 2026 – 15 Feb 2027 Rate: An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £13.66 (PAYE) OR £17.72 per hour (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company). Hours: Monday to Friday (09:00 – 17:30)
Key Responsibilities: *The role involves supporting warehouse-type activities *Receiving and logging requests via the customer request tool *Picking products as per request *Booking dispatch with couriers and generating address labels *Updating requests with relevant details such as tracking numbers *Conducting stock intake to replenish inventory *Performing other activities required for effective stock management
Key Requirements: *UK Full manual driving licence.
