Junior Management Accountant

We are seeking a motivated Junior Management Accountant to join our expanding Canterbury office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their accounting career who is eager to develop their technical skills, gain exposure to a diverse client portfolio, and progress towards a professional qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reporting processes
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining financial records
- Assisting with VAT returns and other statutory reporting requirements
- Analysing financial data and producing management reports
- Supporting senior accountants and finance managers on client assignments
- Liaising with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures
About You
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or AAT Level 3/4 qualified
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach
- A genuine desire to build a long-term career in accountancy
- Previous finance or accounting experience is advantageous but not essential
