One of the UK's fastest growing sportswear brands, this Liverpool based business has more than doubled its turnover year-on-year. Founded in 2019 and built entirely without external investment, it has grown from a small online start up to a nationally recognised performance brand stocked by major UK retailers, with European expansion underway!
The role
The wholesale channel is central to the brand's growth strategy, and this hire sits right at the heart of it. As Junior Account Manager, you'll work closely alongside the Senior Key Account Manager, supporting the management and development of a portfolio of retail accounts across the UK and internationally.
The role spans order book management, sell in planning, trade data analysis, forecasting and building pitch decks for key accounts. You'll own the samples process and showroom setup, identify growth opportunities within the wholesale distribution network, and make sure buyer feedback is captured and delivered accurately and on time.
This is a hand on, commercially focused position. For the right person, account ownership is a realistic next step if meeting KPIs and OKRs. Ideal for someone with 2–4 years of experience in a sport or performance brand environment and may have worked in one vertical across either Merchandising, Buying, Account Management, category Management or Wholesale Sales and is ready to take their next step into account management.
As the Junior Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the order book, supporting forecasting, and driving in-season trading activity
- Identifying growth opportunities within wholesale distribution: new categories, additional SKUs, and SMU opportunities
- Owning the samples process, showroom setup, and sell-in environment
- Analysing trade and DTC data, conducting trend analysis, and building pitch decks to support key account presentations
- Collating buyer feedback and managing logistics updates for relevant stakeholders
The skills we are looking for as a Junior Account Manager:
- 2–4 years within a sport or performance brand, at head office or in a retail environment
- Exposure to a wholesale sport or fashion environment. Relevant backgrounds include Customer Service (sport), Category Management, Product Merchandising, Account Management, Sales Executive, or Assistant Buyer with wholesale exposure
- Client facing with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset; solutions focused, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast moving environment
- Strong Excel skills and confident in PowerPoint and/or Canva, able to present information visually and with impact
- Genuinely passionate about sport, product and fashion
