Are you an Agricultural Engineering student or junior Agricultural Engineer looking to kickstart your career in a growing machinery dealership where you'll split your time between workshop and field work, receive manufacturer-led training, and have clear progression opportunities with a fully equipped van?
A well-established, family-run agricultural engineering and machinery business providing sales, servicing and repair solutions across Cheshire and surrounding regions. Operating as both a machinery supplier and field service specialist, the business supports the farming sector with a range of leading agricultural equipment brands, alongside specialist expertise in key tractor and loader machinery. The team delivers workshop and on-farm engineering support, from routine maintenance and breakdown response through to pre-delivery inspections and technical support for customers and the wider sales function.
In this role, you will support the servicing, repair and maintenance of a wide range of agricultural machinery, working alongside experienced engineers both in the workshop and on customer farms across the region. You will develop your skills in diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic faults, assist with pre-delivery inspections on new equipment, and gain hands-on experience responding to breakdowns in a structured and supportive environment. Full training will be provided, including manufacturer-specific development.
This role would suit a Junior Agricultural Engineer or a recent college graduate looking to start their career in agricultural machinery, joining a growing dealership with structured training, field and workshop exposure, and strong progression potential.
The Role: * Assist with servicing, repair and maintenance of agricultural machinery in workshop and field environments * Support diagnosis of mechanical and hydraulic faults and breakdown repairs on farm * Assist with pre-delivery inspections on new machinery prior to customer delivery * Gain hands-on training from experienced engineers and manufacturers
The Person: * Agricultural Engineering qualification (college/apprenticeship) or similar * Keen to build a career in agricultural machinery engineering * Ability to work in both field and workshop environments * Full UK driving licence * Commutable to Sandbach
