Junior Data Engineer FTC (Azure)
up to £45,000 + Benefits
Remote (UK – occasional office visits)

THE COMPANY:
This is within the legal industry and is with a client who are significantly investing in its data and technology function, creating exciting opportunities for engineers looking to grow in a forward-thinking environment.
THE ROLE:
You will take ownership of supporting and developing data pipelines within a modern Azure Databricks Lakehouse environment. Working closely with engineering teams, you'll contribute to building scalable, high-quality data solutions while developing your technical skillset.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining robust data pipelines
- Supporting CI/CD implementation and engineering best practices
- Deploying and managing code across established development processes
- Contributing to data engineering and data modelling activities
- Applying DevOps principles throughout the engineering lifecycle
- Collaborating across squads and upskilling within the Databricks ecosystem
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
You will bring strong capability in:
- Python development
- Databricks
- Azure
- PySpark
- Understanding of data engineering principles
- A proactive, growth-mindset approach with strong collaboration skills
THE BENEFITS:
You will receive a salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
