We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the preparation of management reports and presentations.
- Help with the development and maintenance of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and provide insights on variances.
- Collect, organise, and maintain financial data from various sources.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information in systems and reports.
- Provide analytical support for business decisions by creating models, scenarios, or projections.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant data for decision-making processes.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the finance function.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the finance team or management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas)
- Familiarity with financial software or ERP systems is a plus (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Strong numerical aptitude with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
