RecruitUK is working with established and growing financial planning firm and they’re looking to hire a Junior Paraplanner to join their team in Farnborough. You’ll be working closely with Financial Advisers, providing technical support across research, report writing, and compliance processes.
The Role
- Assisting with the preparation of suitability reports, financial plans, and cashflow modelling based on client information and adviser guidance
- Carrying out research into financial products, investment solutions, and technical planning areas
- Supporting the production of accurate, professional client reports and recommendations
- Liaising with clients by phone and in person where required
- Assisting advisers with meeting preparation and providing technical administrative support
- Supporting the implementation of advice, including completing and processing applications
Experience and Skills
- Previous experience in an IFA Administration or Junior Paraplanning role
- Progress towards the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (one exam minimum)
- Some exposure to report writing or supporting the production of suitability reports
- Eager to learn and keen to develop a career in paraplanning
- Experience with an industry relevant CRM / back-office system
