We're working with a high-growth technology business in the financial infrastructure space who are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join their Service Delivery team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to move beyond coordination and begin building a future in project delivery, service operations, or technical environments.
This role sits at the centre of a busy, fast-paced delivery function where you'll be managing multiple small-scale projects from order through to completion.
You'll be responsible for keeping delivery on track across a high volume of live workstreams, ensuring customers receive their services on time and to expectation.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Managing a high volume of concurrent small projects (often 15-20+ at a time)
- Coordinating the end-to-end delivery of customer orders, from initial request through to deployment
- Working closely with engineering, networking and internal delivery teams to ensure services are configured and delivered correctly.
- Tracking hardware, shipments and installation timelines to ensure everything is delivered on schedule.
- Managing and communicating customer expectations throughout the process
- Using tools such as Jira to manage workflow, tasks and delivery progress
- Identifying potential risks or delays and proactively resolving issues
Over time, there will also be exposure to:
- Capacity planning and asset management
- Understanding demand trends and supporting more strategic decision-making within the team
The ideal candidate will bring these skills to the table:
- Have 1-2 years' experience in a coordination/delivery role.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly organised and structured, with strong attention to detail.
- Stay calm under pressure and enjoy working with high volumes of activity.
- Proactive, takes ownership and naturally look for ways to improve processes.
- Experience managing stakeholders or working across different teams.
- Prior experience of IT/Infrastructure would be advantageous but not essential.
